Rinalda L. Farrar, Ph.D. and Judith Rogers, MLIS are newly elected board members, and Monika Rhue, MLIS was elected to serve a second term. Elections were held in June for all members in good standing of the HBCU Library Alliance, and elected members serve 3-year appointments.</span><span style="line-height: 107%;"><br /> </span></p>

Farrar is the Director of Library Services and Assistant Professor at Lincoln University in Missouri. Prior to this assignment, she served as the Coordinator of the Information Commons, and First Year Experience Librarian for the last six years. Dr. Farrar also serves as the Library Science Department Head. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Stillman College, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Maryville University, a Master of Arts in Education from Lindenwood University, a Master of Science in Management from National-Louis University, a Master of Arts in Religious Studies from Aspen Theological Seminary, and a Ph.D. in Christian Counseling from Aspen Theological Seminary. </span></p>
