Greetings!

Our library gets frequent enough requests for scanning and/or faxing that we are planning to set up scanning/faxing options for one of our internet stations. We're looking for a scanner that is pretty self-explanatory for patrons to use without staff assistance.
Is there a public scanner at your library that your patrons find easy to use?? Our IT staff have recommended an HP Scanjet 5590. Do any of you have that model? What do you think of it?

For faxing, we are limited to internet based services since we don't have a spare phone line near our internet area. Are there any fax services, free or modestly priced, that any of you have used that don't require each patron to set up an account? Again,
we're looking for something that will work with minimal staff involvement.

Many thanks for any input or feedback you can offer!
