<span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"">This grant is designed to encourage outstanding Teen Tech Week activities by providing financial assistance, while recognizing YALSA members for excellent library services for and with teens,
especially those teens that lack access to up to date technology. The applicant must plan and present an outline for a Teen Tech Week activity that is coordinated by a library. The activity must be geared toward teens in your community who are underserved
or marginalized. YALSA encourages innovative proposals that help teens gain skills in using digital media, whether to help with school work, explore personal interests or prepare for careers.

The $1,000 grant, made possible by Best Buy, is to be used to support the activity. A total of twenty grants are available. Individual library branches within a larger system are welcome to apply. Funds may be used to purchase digital media, enhance the library's
collection or support a particular program activity. Funds may not be used for salaries or for food/beverages.<br>
<br>
<b><span style="color:red">Applications are due January 1, 2016.</span></b><br>

Recipients will be announced the week of January 25, 2016. <br>

All proposals must feature programs that follow the model for programming as outlined in YALSA's
