<div dir="ltr"><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div>Dear Colleagues, <br><br></div>For many years the Johannah <span class="">Sherrer</span>
Memorial Lecture in Library Service has provided an opportunity for
librarians to gather at Lewis & Clark College for an afternoon of
learning, inspiration, and discussion of a library service-related topic
presented by a leader in the <span class=""></span>field.
Established in 1999 by former Watzek Library Director James J. Kopp, the
lecture commemorates the contributions and legacies of Johannah <span class="">Sherrer</span>, a respected friend, colleague and champion of service. <br><br></div>You are invited to take a moment to review the past presenters of the <a href="http://library.lclark.edu/lib/sherrer.htm" target="_blank"><span class="">Sherrer</span> Lecture</a>,
and nominate possible speakers for the 2016 event by March 25. Nominations and
service-related themes can be directed to Elaine Hirsch at the address
above and below. We hope that the <span class="">Sherrer</span>
Memorial Lecture continues to be an important and interesting
professional event for all in attendance, and that we might see you at
Lewis & Clark for the lecture this Fall. <br><br></div>Thank you,<br></div>Elaine Hirsch<br></div>Associate Director<br></div>Watzek Library<br></div>Lewis & Clark<br></div><a href="mailto:elaineghirsch@lclark.edu">elaineghirsch@lclark.edu</a><br></div>
