<p class="MsoNormal">The PLD Board is seeking nominations for secretary (one year term), chair-elect (three year term) and two board members (two year terms). If you are an enthusiastic, engaged and eager member of the public library division this opportunity
is for you. We meet once a month, primarily in the valley, for 3-5 hours. Attending meetings virtually is also an option. Our projects for the upcoming year include:<o:p></o:p></p>

</span>The Library Director’s Annual Meeting which will include an educational component.<o:p></o:p></p>

</span>Oregon Library Standards review.<o:p></o:p></p>

</span>Supporting new measurement tools such as the Edge Initiative and PLA’s Project Outcome<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">If this sounds like an exciting opportunity for you, and you have the time to give (average estimate is 10-15 hours/month), we look forward to your nomination. Nominations should include a brief bio and how you can contribute to the PLD
Board. Please send your nominations to me via email by <b>June 30<sup>th</sup>.</b> Ballots will go out in early July. Terms are two years long and will begin in September, 2016.
