• Work with local governments considering changing elections from “two-round” to “instant run-off”.
• Over 90% of federal Representatives keep getting elected. Work with others to make redistricting fair.
• Against the Electoral College, like the majority of Americans? There is a viable alternative that 11 states have already signed on to. Oregon has already begun to consider it. Join the effort.
• A majority of the public across the political spectrum want changes in campaign finance law. Many efforts are underway. Overturning Citizens’ United is not, in and of itself, going to affect most Oregon elections. Learn about other options.
• The Federal Election Commission is one source of campaign finance data. Oregon has its own campaign finance database for state elections.
