<p>This is your friendly, neighborhood nag reminding you that the Oregon Association of School Libraries Fall Conference is in Bend on October 14 and 15. We have a fabulous day and a half planned, so make sure you register soon! Friday afternoon is all about

 book talks for all levels, with Danielle Jones for elementary and Battisti and Benedetti for secondary. Friday evening, enjoy dessert and a presentation by children's book author and illustrator

<a href="http://www.duncantonatiuh.com/">Duncan Tonatiuh</a> (click on any author's name for a link to his/her website). Saturday morning with breakfast our three featured authors will be joined by

<a href="http://goo.gl/iDjco6">five additional authors</a> for a panel discussion and autograph session. Saturday features over 40 sessions from which to choose with topics ranging from author talks, to technology tools, to ebooks, to standards, and so much
