LOCATION: University of Idaho Library (Moscow, ID)<br>

CLOSING DATE: September 15, 2016<br>

POSITION: Assists with processing university and manuscript collections, including accessioning, arrangement and description, and preservation of materials in all formats. Expands access to archival collections by encoding finding aids using Encoded Archival
 Description (EAD) for contribution to the Archives West consortium and providing patron reference service, including assisting with orders and inquiries. May train and supervise student processing assistants. Performs other related duties as assigned.<br>

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:<br>
<br>
·         Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.<br>
<br>
·         Working proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite and library catalogs/databases.<br>
<br>
·         Ability to be flexible and work both independently and as a team member.<br>
<br>
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:<br>
<br>
·         Bachelor’s degree.<br>
<br>
·         Experience with processing archival collections.<br>
<br>
·         Experience with Archivist’s Toolkit or other content management system software.<br>
<br>
·         Experience with encoded archival description practices.<br>
<br>
·         Knowledge of Idaho and Pacific Northwest history.<br>
<br>
·         Experience conducting reference interactions<br>
<br>
·         Supervisory experience (training, planning, evaluating)<br>
