These discussions are part of the American Library Association’s (ALA) Midwinter Meeting & Exhibits, held from Jan. 20 – 24, 2017 at the Georgia World Congress Center.</p><p style="margin:1em 0px;color:rgb(48,48,48);font-family:"helvetica neue",arial,sans-serif;font-size:13px;font-style:normal;font-variant-ligatures:normal;font-variant-caps:normal;font-weight:normal;letter-spacing:normal;text-align:left;text-indent:0px;text-transform:none;white-space:normal;word-spacing:0px;background-color:rgb(255,255,255)">Over the last months, ALA members have expressed their concerns regarding the effects of the recent election on the positions and advocacy efforts of the Association. In order to continue this dialog, the ALA Executive Board invites ALA Council and the ALA membership to join a Town Hall style conversation on Sunday, January 22 from 9:30-11:00am in the GWCC Thomas Murphy Ballroom 3-4, immediately following the Council meeting I agenda.
