<p class="MsoNormal">My City Manager ask if anyone has information as to whether or not active DAY SHELTER CENTERS for the homeless help lessen the burden placed on public libraries. It’s hard to find many communities with active overnight shelters and my
experience with homeless shelters in general, is that they make people leave during the day – even permanent shelters.

<p class="MsoNormal">Do any of you have information about DAY Shelters and, specifically, whether they reduce the burden placed on public libraries?<o:p></o:p></p>
