<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:black">There is such thing as a free lunch! We are in need of 5-10 more people to help assemble the Annual Meeting bags beginning at 1pm on Thursday, May 25</span><sup><span style="font-size:6.5pt;color:black">th</span></sup><span style="color:black">
at the Convention Center. There are about 1500 bags that will need to be stuffed with the meeting program, call for papers, guides, etc. This project takes about 3-4 hours total, and MLA provides lunch to the volunteers. It’s a fun way to kick off the meeting
in a casual, informal setting. After you volunteer, you get to be the first to check in for the conference and receive your badge and bag.</span><span style="color:#1F497D"><o:p></o:p></span></p>

duration of the annual meeting. The Hospitality Booth is often abuzz with activity and people asking for information about things from conference details, to restaurant information, or directions to the light rail station. You don’t have to be a Seattle local.
