position is nestled in the high desert plateaus of Eastern Oregon,
in the
beautiful rural communities of Umatilla County, Oregon. The Umatilla
County
Special Library District is a premier rural federated public library
support
system made up of twelve independent city libraries. The District
Manager works
with a dedicated team of staff, and a passionate, involved elected
Board of
Directors that care deeply about the quality of literacy and library
programs
and services that impact the residents of Umatilla County. <span
style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>The position supports the
development of
member libraries and manages the administrative and financial
activities of the
