<div dir="ltr"><div><div><div>Patty Lara is the Outreach Specialist for the Hood River County Library
District, where she works tirelessly to attract the vast Hispanic
populations in the area to the many services her library system
provides. She has created and maintained community festivals, starred
in a radio show that highlights library services, and has established
bus transportation to bring families to the library that otherwise
wouldn’t have a way to get there. She loves her job as an Outreach
Specialist and can’t imagine doing anything else. To learn more about
