<div dir="ltr">Melissa, we are considering paying a monthly fee to have pay phone service reinstituted by the carrier at our Midland branch. We are also experimenting with allowing patrons brief use of staff phones in some of our locations. We tried it at Central, but had to stop because we began to see some serious misuse. But it is working ok out at the Holgate Library. <p class="MsoNormal">We have been notified that the pay phone in our lobby is going to be removed by the carrier. They are getting out of the pay phone business. Previously we have directed most people to this phone in order not to tie up our phone lines. What
do other libraries do? Does anyone NOT provide a phone option for patrons? How do you monitor/limit time?<br>
