to bring the Association of College and Research Libraries workshop, "Building Your Research Data Management Toolkit" to Spokane, WA in spring of 2017. The workshop trained regional academic and hospital librarians and support staff serving expanding medical
programs and growing research needs involving rural populations. And just this past month in June, the Comics & Medicine conference was held at Seattle Public Library where a mix of venues allowed a variety of participation by attendees to explore and promote
how comics can be an avenue for health information, accessibility, and communication.
