<p class="MsoNormal">Since we haven’t gotten permission from our newspaper publisher to retain their paper digitally, and their digital version isn’t the entire paper, just select articles, I’m looking at continuing the microfilming of our local paper since
the UO stopped in 2014. <o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">What are the rest of you doing to preserve that local history for your community? We are actually binding our paper copies and debating whether we should find a company to microfilm our current copies as well. We are in a very fortunate
position that we have almost our full run of newspapers on microfilm from 1888 on and I hate to lose that local historical connection for those doing research 20-50 years from now.
