<p>U.S. Census Bureau has recently released detailed statistics of social, economic, housing and demographic characteristics for hundreds of race, tribal, Hispanic origin and ancestry populations,
<a href="https://factfinder.census.gov/faces/nav/jsf/pages/searchresults.xhtml?refresh=t">
Selected Population Tables</a>.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p>These tables from the <a href="https://www.census.gov/programs-surveys/acs/">2011-2015 American Community Survey</a> contain the most detail for these populations and are available at numerous geographic levels, including state, county, place, and in some
instances census tract. This dataset provides current statistics to update many of the estimates from the previous 2006-2010 ACS 5-Year Selected Population Tables.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p>This is a rich set of data for anyone looking to do community analysis to plan for library services.
