*Attendees</b></div>

<div style="text-align:justify" id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1508350137686_23937">Licensee is not required to
provide a certificate of liability insurance for all rooms.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes" id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1508350137686_23938"> </span>In the Convention Center this would pertain
to the upper level and Seamist Room.</div>

where catering and alcoholic beverages are served would fall under category

maintain in full force and affect during licensee’s use and occupation of the
facilities as herein provided and any extension thereof, at licensee’s expense,
bodily injury, liability and
property damage insurance.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes" id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1508350137686_23947"> </span>In addition
to licensee, the City of Seaside
and its employees and agents thereof shall be named as additional insured.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes" id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1508350137686_23948"> </span>The policy shall not be less than five
hundred thousand dollars ($500,000.00) Single Limit covering bodily injury, personal liability and property damage (for
damage to property of City of Seaside)
arising out of or in any way connected with licensee’s agreement. </div>

I sent that information along with a note to the key people at. SDAO expressing my dismay that after all of my years of working with them they still know so little about libraries. I asked last year and I am still trying to wrap my head around this. We are a Special District and our agent has told us that groups must present a certificate of insurance to use our meeting room. Regardless of type of group and if they are meeting during business hours. How are these groups different from people using study rooms or a group at a table? SDAO said that our business is providing materials and computers. Not public meeting areas.<br clear="none">

Please let me know if you require an insurance certificate.<br clear="none">
