</span><span style="font-size:11.5pt">Olé Award). The Pearl Award is presented annually to a deserving person employed in any capacity in an Oregon public library who has displayed
</span><span style="font-size:12.0pt">exceptional effort and excellence. This award represents those who are like the pearl in an oyster -- one who agitates, makes change over time, and is highly valued. The winner will be recognized at the PLD banquet dinner
at the upcoming OLA conference, April 18-21, 2018. The deadline for nominating someone awesome is Thursday, March 1st, 2018.
