firm with the mission of assisting libraries in developing countries, because better libraries lead to better lives. Dr. Miller is passionate about the development of libraries, archives and information centers to foster increasing literacy levels and a culture
of reading and research in countries that need it most. She has spent nearly five years in Afghanistan, where she was the Library Director at the American University of Afghanistan for two years, and has worked on several consultancies and volunteer projects
to educate Afghan librarians and improve the level of professional service. Prior to moving to Afghanistan, she was an Assistant Professor at the School of Library and Information Science at the University of Kentucky, and Program Director at the School of
Library and Information Management at Emporia State University. Currently she resides in Munich, Germany, where her most recent projects have included developing a digital asset management system for a global corporation and conducting research on the information
needs of refugees. Dr. Miller holds a MLS and PhD in Library Science from Emporia State University (Kansas, USA), and a MA in Diplomacy from the Patterson School, University of Kentucky (Kentucky, USA).</span><span style="color:#282828"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
