implementation of policies, plans, and programs, coordinating and cooperating
with all areas as appropriate. Provides leadership and promotes awareness of
new and emerging technologies to improve the patron experience, library
services, workflows, and support for research, student learning, and library

Responsibilities include supervising Library Technologies staff, short- and
long-term planning, and prioritizing and coordinating unit projects and
activities. This position oversees library technology systems and projects and
works with unit staff, programmers, system vendors, librarians, staff, the
University’s Office of Information Technology, and library users to evaluate,
develop, implement, maintain, and support a range of systems. This position
serves as the system administrator for the Library’s shared integrated library
system (SILS).<span></span></span></p>

storage solutions; instructional technology; and provision of staff and public
