an open science advocate who believes in the power of inclusive open communities. She serves as Co-Executive Director at Code for Science & Society where she works to support open source software projects including the Dat project, Stencila, and ScienceFair.
Her experiences as a researcher motivated her to apply the philosophy of open source software development to scientific research to improve efficiency and research reproducibility — and to work for an inclusive future for science and scholarship. Dr.<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span>Robinson<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span>was
a 2016-2017 Mozilla Fellow for Science, received my PhD in Neuroscience from Oregon Health and Science University in 2017, and was awarded a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship in 2012. Her current work includes exploring how Dat-based
p2p infrastructure can improve data preservation, research collaboration, and public access to research data.
