<p class="MsoNormal">The <u><a href="https://www.smartaboutmoney.org/">Smart About Money</a></u> consumer program at the National Endowment for Financial Education (NEFE) is offering three scholarships in 2018 for qualified librarians to pursue the
<u><a href="http://www.afcpe.org/certification-and-training/accredited-financial-counselor" target="_blank">Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC) certification</a></u> with the Association for Financial Counseling and Planning Education (AFCPE).

<p class="MsoNormal">The goals of this continuing education scholarship opportunity are as follows:

<p class="MsoNormal">The AFC certification process is intended to prepare professionals to educate and assist clients or students, helping them set and meet financial goals and achieve financial well-being through counseling and education.

<p class="MsoNormal"><b>What Expenses are Eligible? <o:p></o:p></b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">If selected, the recipient will receive a $1,300 scholarship to study for and complete the AFC examination. This includes:
