Do you like technology? Do you like students? Do you love libraries? -- well this position might be for you.</div><div><br></div><div>This position will oversee the computers and technology in the Library learning spaces including lab computers, classrooms, study rooms, and makerspace. Oversees student workers and the functioning of the student help desk. Maintains a service-oriented and technology-rich environment within the Library for students.<br><br>Essential Functions<br><ul><li>Recruits, trains, and oversees student workers to staff the student technology help desk and the makerspace in the Library.</li><li>Coordinates the creation of help documentation for student workers and Library users.</li><li>Oversees configuration of software, workstation setup and ongoing support, and troubleshooting and problem solving for Library staff and public workstations in the Library.</li><li>Helps to design, implement, and oversee the Library makerspace.</li><li>Acts as a liaison between the Library and Information & Academic Technology departments.</li><li>Problem solve and manage sensitive information with appropriate awareness of FERPA standards; maintain confidentiality and sensitivity to the privacy needs of students.</li><li>Demonstrate Lane’s core value of social justice by ensuring equity and inclusion skills such as respect, inclusiveness, reflecting, valuing of cultural and personal differences, are the basis of employee and student interpersonal communications and relationships, and are applied to all position responsibilities.</li><li>Duties are carried out respectfully inclusively, regardless of age, color, disability, gender, gender identity or expression, social class, marital status, national origin, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, veteran’s status, nationality, age, language, origin or employment status.<br>Must demonstrate an active concern for meeting the needs of students, staff, and the public.</li></ul></div><div><div>Closes 12/2/18</div><div>More info: <a href="https://jobs.lanecc.edu/postings/9352">https://jobs.lanecc.edu/postings/9352</a></div><br></div><span id="GWSignatureSent" style="padding-right: 0px; padding-left: 0px; margin-bottom: 5px; display: block;"><span style="display: block;"><br><span style="font-size: 10pt; display: inline-block; -ms-word-wrap: normal;">
