<b>Cataloging Librarian</b>. <br>

As the Cataloging Librarian, you will be a part of the Automation program and will work closely with WCCLS colleagues and other library customers. Under the direction of the Library Automation Systems Supervisor, you will work with technical services related
aspects of the Integrated Library System (ILS) including the cataloging, acquisitions, and serials subsystems as well as the public catalog interface and discovery layer. In this position, you will work in partnership with the other Cataloging Librarian and
in close teamwork with the ILS Librarian to support library staff work in the cataloging database, monitor the quality and usability of the catalog, implement and manage projects that impact the catalog.<br>

The successful candidate will have a strong background in library cataloging and is knowledgeable about the following foundational cataloging codes and standards: MARC (Machine Readable Cataloging), LCSH (Library of Congress Subject Headings), RDA (Resource
Description and Access), and DDC (Dewey Decimal Classification). In addition, the selected individual must place a high value on customer service and will be able to work well independently as well as collaboratively. Furthermore, the successful candidate
will be an excellent communicator and is able to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.<br>
