<span style="color:#2E75B6;mso-style-textfill-fill-color:#2E75B6;mso-style-textfill-fill-alpha:100.0%">Oregon Statewide Report Card</span></a>. It provides a slew of statistics and information on everything from class size to student homelessness, language
diversity to measures of progress, early childhood data to graduation rates, and more. FYI, page 13 indicates that last school year there were 165 FTE licensed librarians and 697 FTE paraprofessionals staffing libraries in Oregon’s 1250ish public schools.

drop-down list to learn about student demographics, staffing, progress indicators, and more. The district-level report card shows library staffing, but the school-level one does not.

the number actually represented all school library staff for the district – classified (paraprofessional) and licensed. ODE heard from many people, including OASL, that the information that was presented did not paint a clear picture of library staffing levels
in Oregon public schools. ODE responded, and this year’s district-level report cards list “Licensed Librarians” in the “Our Staff” column, and this year’s statewide report card lists licensed and paraprofessional library staff separately.
