<p class="MsoNormal">Hi all,<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">We have a regular patron who prints thousands of pages each week using the library’s public computers and printer.  We charge 10 cents a page for b/w printing, and she spends several hundreds of dollars each week on her print jobs.  In
order to not tie up the printer for our other patrons, Reference Desk staff must carefully monitor the print queue and release the patron’s print jobs in small batches, a process that is very time consuming and often takes staff away from helping other patrons.
We are now considering setting a limit on the number of pages patrons can print each day.  I am wondering if other libraries have set limits on printing?  If so, what is the page limit and how do you enforce it?<o:p></o:p></p>
