<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">I wanted to provide the library community with recent news about the restarting of 2020 Census operations to deliver paper forms to households.
<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">Starting today (May 11) about 84 Census workers are expected to drop off packets (instructions and paper form) to 28,000 households across Oregon who do not receive mail at a physical address and therefore
have not received the initial invitation to participate in the 2020 Census back in March. These workers are following strict safety protocols and following guidelines for social distancing.

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">You can see the specific areas where this operation is taking place on

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">One of the ways you can help your community get the federal and state resources it needs for economic recovery is to encourage 2020 Census participation. An accurate count helps assure economic and social
service resources and services are distributed fairly. Libraries have been doing a great job promoting Census participation, even in this time with restricted services. Please keep up the great work!<o:p></o:p></span></p>
