efficiency and cost effectiveness. Pay for furnishings, equipment, site improvements, land acquisition, and bond issuance costs. Bonds would mature not more than nine years from issuance and may be issued in multiple series. The County estimates the average
cost to be $0.61 per $1,000 of assessed value over the term of the bond. Actual rate may vary. The current voter-approved local option levy provides funding for staff, library materials, and programs and services for our patrons. Without continuation of the revenue from this levy, the district will need to reduce budget by an estimated $350,000 dollars
in the 2022-23 fiscal year.<br>
At the rate of $0.35 per $1000 assessed value, the local options levy is estimated to raise revenue of $1,838,000 over the next five years, broken down as follows: 2022/23 $346,000; 2023/24 $357,000; 2024/25 $367,000; 2025/26 $378,000; 2026/27 $390,000.<br>
