<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Verdana",sans-serif">The University of Washington Health Sciences Library (HSL) seeks an energetic, creative, innovative, and service-oriented individual for the position of Assistant Director, Regional Medical
Library (RML) at University of Washington (UW) for the <a href="https://nnlm.gov/">
Network of the National Library of Medicine</a> (NNLM). The mission of the NNLM is to advance the progress of medicine and improve the public's health by providing U.S. researchers, health professionals, public health workforce, educators, and the public with
equal access to biomedical and health information resources and data. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Verdana",sans-serif"> <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Verdana",sans-serif">The Assistant Director will lead a collaborative UW team to ensure the services and programs of the RML meet the needs of NNLM audiences and stakeholders, such as researchers, health professionals,
public health workforce, educators, and the public in communities across the U.S., including persons who experience health disparities and populations underrepresented in biomedical research. The RML staff work closely with other regions and national offices
in the NNLM, in collaboration with the Office of Engagement and Training, headquartered at NLM. This position is contingent on funding approval of an NIH grant.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
