The </span><a href="https://www.imls.gov/"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:#0563C1">Institute of Museum and Library Services</span></a><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"> (IMLS) awarded a planning
grant to the </span><a href="http://www.ala.org/pla/"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:#0563C1">Public Library Association</span></a><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"> (PLA) and the </span><a href="https://www.familieslearning.org/"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:#0563C1">National
Center for Families Learning</span></a><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"> (NCFL). Our project, </span><a href="http://www.ala.org/pla/initiatives/familyengagement/latinx"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:#0563C1">Exploring
a Program Co-Design Approach to Better Serve and Engage Low-income, Latinx Communities</span></a><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">, will develop and document methods for how library staff can support Latinx parent participation.
Working in three (urban, suburban, and rural) locations, PLA and NCFL will <span style="color:black;background:white">identify culturally-responsive practices and resources that fully and authentically engage historically marginalized Latinx communities in
library programs</span>.<br>

<span style="color:black;background:white">As part of the project PLA and NCFL are collecting literature, program examples, and input from public libraries nationwide. To that end, we are asking PLA members to complete a survey to inform the project. Please
