I’ve taken a bystander invention class from Amy Collins, who is at Portland State University. Highly recommend.
SURJ, Stand Up For Racial Justice, is an organization that has this kind of training. I’ve taken it and highly recommend it. They have a chapter in Eugene and also in the Portland area - there are more chapters in the state, I believe.

One of the requests that I’ve received from my staff after looking at the EDI toolkit and attending Ryan Dowd’s “dealing with prejudicial remarks” webinar is for more in-depth bystander training. Basically, how to usefully intervene in the library and elsewhere
if someone is being harassed, subjected to slurs, etc.

Has anyone worked with a trainer on this who’s particularly good?
