I'll second what Lori from WCCLS said. We've used our ILS, and even as a non-cataloger I've been able to add items and have them circulate without much issue

Iām reaching out with a question involving cataloging for anyone who is operating a Library of Things. We started one a little less than two years ago in Jackson County and have always used a separate software tool for cataloging those
items, reservations, check outs, etc. We are wanting to gather information as to what other libraries are doing, whether something similar, or using your ILS, or another method. If you are using your ILS, are you simply allowing patrons to put items on hold
as versus a reservation? Curious to find out how the method you use works for you.
