<div>Join us for a conversation about how race and identity have been represented in children's books in the past, how and why authors and illustrators are working to change that in the present, and panelists' hopes for the future of children's literature.
Panelists will address complex questions including who can tell whose story, how do we deal with our racist past, and how we can begin to bring fresh narratives and perspectives to the field. </div>
