<div><span>The IMLS-grant-funded </span><span><a href="https://www.lib.umn.edu/about/evidence-synthesis-institute" target="_blank"><span>Evidence Synthesis Institute</span></a></span><span> is piloting a new training just for groups. If
your institution needs to train a whole team of 5-20 librarians/staff in
supporting evidence synthesis reviews – with an emphasis on disciplines outside
the health sciences – you can now apply for a 3-day long virtual training
tailored to your needs hosted by the instructors of the Evidence Synthesis
Institute. <b>Applications will be accepted May 2-31, 2022</b> and the
trainings will be scheduled over the next year based on instructor
availability. <br></span><p><span>Because this is a pilot,
we will only be accepting 3 groups at this time and are limited to institutions
based in the United States. Factors we will consider in screening applications
and selecting groups will be: range of disciplines served; size of institution
and group (we would like to work with a variety of sizes); and potential impact
of training. </span><span><span></span></span></p>
