Hi all,
I came across information for the teen library population that I wanted to share with the library community in support of full access to all books for teens. In an effort to show the nation that Brooklyn public library does not support banning books, they are
offering, for a limited time (I think through May), free library eCards to anyone in the entire country ages 13-21, to provide unrestricted access to their collection of ebooks. In addition, they offer a by-teen-for-teen recommendation BookMatch program, a
link to the ALA report a challenge page, and links to information on censorship and teen rights.
I feel this can be an important resource linking East coast to West coast in the efforts to connect readers to books without judgement or control. And good resources should be shared:

The timing is good too, coming up on summer break with lots of opportunities to connect teens to summer reading.
Hope this information is helpful, for librarians, educators, and parents.

Thank you for all you do, and be well.
