holdings, including verifying and updating detailed holdings statements and creating serial holdings records in Alma and OCLC Connexion following MARC 21 Format for Holdings Data (MFHD) standards. The employee will organize and conduct highly complex database
maintenance processes for electronic resources and perform complex copy cataloging of electronic and print serial and monographic resources for all library collections. Position catalogs library materials according to national, regional, and local standards,
rules, and practices. Tasks are mainly done independently with professional help as needed. The employee has frequent email communication with university students, faculty, staff, vendors, and community guests. The employee participates in monitoring, resolving,
and answering user-reported access and discovery problems. This employee participates in special projects as assigned.</font></div>

• Shares in the Dark Horse cataloging project creating original bibliographic records for Dark Horse titles. Follows local, regional, and national cataloging practices and procedures in providing description and access to this collection.<br>

</font><font face="Arial" size="+1" color="black">The starting hourly rate for this position will be between $18.12 and $20.62. The starting salary may be negotiable above this range, however it will be dependent upon the knowledge, experience, skills and abilities
of the chosen candidate, the budget of the hiring department, and approval from HR. PSU’s excellent benefits package includes 95% premium paid healthcare; a generous retirement and vacation package; and reduced tuition rates for employee, spouse or dependent
