freedom to read, open access to information, and other intellectual freedom<br>
issues throughout the state. Ongoing projects of the committee include:<br>

- supporting Banned Books Week;<br>
- sponsoring sessions at the OLA conference on IF issues;<br>
- supporting libraries that receive intellectual freedom challenges<br>
including to materials and other IF issues;<br>
- providing information on IF issues through listserv communication,<br>
social media, web tool kits, and other resources;<br>
- providing a searchable database of news reports related to<br>
intellectual freedom issues in Oregon;<br>
- honoring Intellectual Freedom Champions;<br>
- working with the Legislative Committee and the OLA Board on topical<br>
issues that arise, such as net neutrality.<br>

Members are asked to serve at least two years. The IFC meets approximately<br>
six times a year, plus a short meeting at the OLA annual conference.<br>
Committee members participate remotely, either via Zoom or conference call.<br>
