<p class="MsoNormal">I want to bring your attention to an opportunity to engage with Wikipedia, Wikidata, and other Wikimedia projects in April to improve book coverage. Quality coverage of books is especially important during this period of unprecedented book
challenges in the United States. Wikipedia pages about challenged books are viewed hundreds to thousands of times daily in English Wikipedia. For example, in the last 20 days,
<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gender_Queer">Gender Queer</a> has been viewed 13,000 times,
<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lawn_Boy_(Evison_novel)">Lawn Boy</a> 4,000 times,
<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Hate_U_Give">The Hate U Give</a> 10,000 times, and
<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/All_American_Boys">All American Boys</a> 2,000 times.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">April 1 marks the <a href="https://diff.wikimedia.org/2023/03/07/introducing-everybookitsreader-a-new-wikimedia-campaign/">
launch of the first #EveryBookItsReader campaign</a>. Currently, events are planned in Mexico, Brazil, Canada, the US, Spain, Italy, Romania, Nigeria, and Uganda. You can find more information on the
