<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Verdana",sans-serif;color:#073763">The 5th Circuit Court of Appeals en banc just found by a 9-7 vote that the current Universal Service Funding mechanism is unconstitutional. We are still digesting the decision.
But our lawyers assure us that the current USF process - including E-rate and Rural Health Care - continue in effect. The 5th Circuit Court remanded to the FCC for further proceedings but did not "vacate" the USF funding mechanism. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
