I’m trying to do my due diligence on a reference question but need some help. One of our patrons was hiking in the Sisters Wilderness area where you need a permit and heard another hiker mention that they
had checked out a permit from their library that is good for a week. I tried the Forest Service, but they didn’t think such a thing existed. So, I am wondering if (in this game of telephone) something/some information got lost. I feel like if I had a better
description or name of the pass, I would have much better success of obtaining one if they do exist. If you are the library that checks these out, can you please get in touch. Thanks.
