Hi all,

Accordingly, the City of Oregon City is now looking for the Oregon City Public Library’s next Director! The posting and application are available here:

I can honestly say, this is a pretty great position/opportunity. The next Director will enjoy a supportive City Administration and City Commission, collaborative City departments, a stable budget, strong community support, a talented and dedicated (and super
fun) staff, an engaged and supportive Library Board, fantastic colleagues within the larger LINCC (Libraries in Clackamas County) cooperative, pretty awesome Friends of the Library and Library Foundation organizations, and a beautiful building. You’ll also
get to make a big impact right off the bat with a couple of major projects (our first outreach vehicle, pilot set of book lockers) already in the works.

If this sounds like the right next step for your career, please take a look at the posting (or forward it to anyone you think might be a great candidate). And, I am happy to answer any questions or chat about the position or the community, so feel free to contact
me off list.
