Dear COSLA Members & State Library Agency Staff ARP contacts – Our next COSLA Exchange session will be next Thursday, April 1, 2021 from 4 – 5 pm ET.  The topic is subgranting.  This was a topic around which interest emerged during our call last week with IMLS on the American Rescue Plan funds.  Our Vice President-President Elect Julie Walker (GA) will host and Amy Johnson (FL) and others will be on hand to talk about their experiences.  We encourage participation from all states including those who may be newer to the topic.  Bring your questions.  This is a perfect opportunity to do so!  COSLA Exchanges are intended to provide opportunity for information sharing, Q&A,  and exploration around topics of interest across the COSLA membership.  Peer-to-peer interaction is often the best.

Chief Officers are welcome to invite other staff from their agency to attend as well.  Please register at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/W6FJDNZ.  Registrants will receive a calendar invitation with connection details within 1 business day of registering.  The session will be recorded and posted on the Nings for two weeks following the session.

There has been some good trading of links on this topic on the COSLA listserv over the last few days.  We’ll gather those and post as well on the ARP pages of both the Chief Officer and State Library Agency Staff Nings.

Thanks, and I hope to see many of you online next Thursday.  Finally, if you haven’t done so already, mark you calendars for future Exchanges to be held Thursdays in April, 4 – 5 pm ET.  Topics TBA but we expect likely topics to be more on ARP funds; construction programs, and LSTA planning and review.  And, for May Exchanges, we’ll be rotating in COSLA member EDI work as a topic too.
