Hello LSTA Coordinators,

In response to the yesterday's 2 C.F.R. part 200 Updates presentation at the Grants to States Conference, I'm wondering if anyone has purchased hotspots with their CARES funds and looked into 200.216 Prohibition on certain telecommunications and video surveillance services or equipment<https://www.ecfr.gov/cgi-bin/text-idx?SID=5ceaa7d3a458d273b51928e3aae2ae0d&mc=true&node=pt2.1.200&rgn=div5#se2.1.200_1216>.

Any information regarding the effect this regulation has had on your project(s) would be much appreciated.

Also, does anyone know if there are any known cellular equipment providers (ATT, Sprint, Verizon, etc.) who are prohibited because their network contains essential components from the prohibited companies as stated in 200.216:

*         equipment produced by Huawei Technologies Company or ZTE Corporation (or any subsidiary or affiliate of such entities).

*         Hytera Communications Corporation, Hangzhou Hikvision Digital Technology Company, or Dahua Technology Company (or any subsidiary or affiliate of such entities).
