[lstac] ARPA Extension question

We also requested an extension for everything but provided specific examples in our justification.  We requested and received a 9-month extension.

We requested a general one because some grant requests came in woefully low. So we had reasoning behind the request, but we didn't ask for a specific project.

We have not yet asked but will be doing so soon.

My experience with extensions is that if they are within 3 months, approval comes from Teri. If the extension request is longer than 3 months, it has to go up to the head of IMLS.

If anyone has asked IMLS for an extension for ARPA funds yet, how long have you asked for. My understanding from the CARES Act is that 3 months is an “easy” request. But my first ARPA grantee who has had their equipment delivery date pushed into the fall sounds like 3 months may not be long enough. Thanks for any information.
