[lstac] Charlie Cart question

Hi Karren,

I have approved 2 Charlie Carts!  I treated it as one item over $5,000 and got approval from our program officer for the $9K/$12k (I think the price has gone up!) Even though it has many components, it is sold as a single item - you don't buy the extra stuff separately. Maybe that wasn't right, but that's how we did it. We did parse out the shipping cost, but everything else we considered one piece of equipment.

Have any of you approved a Charlie Cart for a subgrant? I am confused by the pricing. It is $12K - but includes over 175 things, training and shipping. I'm having a hard time figuring out if there is an equipment level cost in there.
