Sam.gov has a help area<https://sam.gov/content/help>, which not only includes a Knowledge Base (less helpful), but there’s also a live chat which appears to be open M-F, 8AM-8PM. I’m not familiar with this group and how helpful they are, but maybe they can give this a try but let me know if it’s a dead end and I’m happy to help 😊

Hi Kathleen,

I was trying to setup the UEI number per this communication from November.

I cannot register the entity in SAM since a menu button stays greyed out when fill out the form.

Are you familiar at all with this process? I have a user account created at SAM.gov<file://SAM.gov> but am confused as to how to do this even after reading everything due to the aforementioned issue with the button.

This communication is going out to all libraries and library organizations in the state who currently have been granted federal funds by the New Jersey State Library. The document explains the need to obtain a Unique Entity Identification by, or preferably before, April 4, 2022. This UEI will replace the DUNS number which is currently used by the federal government.
