[lstac] FW: Grants

For construction – I recommend USDA’s Rural Development – it isn’t a grant, but they do have no cost loans. In some areas, that is the best they are going to find. MI doesn’t do state construction grants.

IMLS, ARSL, NNLM, and the North Dakota State Library’s twitter feed!
I’ve also looked at Americorp (to look for grantees who can offer staffing help)
I put grants that seem most useful into a padlet<https://padlet.com/NSLAPR/nevada-library-grant-opportunities-1v8lps203c91plz0>, and I let things sit for a while after the deadline, because unofficially it’s hard to keep up, but officially sometimes funders will post updates on new grant cycles.
We also have a non profit called the Nevada Grant Lab<https://nevadagrantlab.org/search> that, I’m told, crawls the web using people rather than software. I link to it on our LSTA page.

Good morning (or afternoon depending on where you are), fellow LSTAers. I hope you had a great Memorial Day holiday! 😊

Quick question: what tools or resources do you use to research grants (private, federal, etc.) that might be applicable to your public libraries? Thanks for any assistance.

Kelyn
