Same in SD. The databases we provide are completely funded by LSTA funds.

I would also be interested in learning what other states are doing or what other states are exploring. In Oklahoma, LSTA funds databases for K-12, public, and academic libraries statewide with a slight boost from the State Regents for Higher Education to assist with the cost for academic libraries. We will be unable to continue this cost without some pretty creative thinking.

Hi all, hope you're hanging in there this week.
In Nevada, LSTA funds databases for K-12, public, and academic libraries statewide, and we are now exploring alternatives.
Does your state offer cost-sharing or tiered subscription models? We are especially interested in creative or collaborative strategies that have worked well - and if your state has tested any "out of the box thinking" approaches, I'd love to hear about those as well.
Your insights would be a huge help as we figure out next steps-and I'm sure others in our community would benefit too.
Thanks so much!
With gratitude,
