On a brighter note, here was Dennis’ response to the card that was sent:

I think this brightened my year, not just my day! It’s been such a surreal couple of weeks, and I know I’m far from fully processing everything, but this is such a special gesture and I’m so grateful to have this to look back on and treasure. I miss everyone so much already ❤️
